It can be hard to find a sport to play the older that you get, because most of the time you have to be a profesional and have to be young to play. Some people still enjoy playing sports even if they are older, a lot of people play for fun and not for the money or because they want to go pro. The first thing that is very common for older people to play is usually swim team. A lot of people typically swim when they get older because it is much easier than other sports that would involve a lot more physical strength. Although there may not be a sports team for you to compete on, there is most likely still classes in your town or there will often be people that will get together to swim together. If there is not a team to join or any classes that you can take in your city then you can go to a gym and use their pool there to swim at. This is a good option especially if you already have a gym memebership. So try to start going to the pool more often, the more you do it the easier it will get, and the better that you will start to get at it.
The other option that is available as a sport for you is that a lot of times there are a group of people that gets together every so often to play a sports game. This could be baseball,kickball or basketball. A lot of times these people are older in age and they are playing for fun and they are not actually competing to win anything. Look online for these different teams that could be an option in your town, if there is not any in your city then try to get some of your friends together that would be interested in doing this. You guys can get together once and awhile to practice and then have a game together once and awhile. You just need to pick a day and a time for you guys to meet that works for everyone on your new team.
